Black Swan

A psychological thriller set in the world of New York City ballet, BLACK SWAN stars Natalie Portman as Nina, a featured dancer who finds herself locked in a web of competitive intrigue with a new rival at the company (Mila Kunis). A Fox Searchlight Pictures release by visionary director Darren Aronofsky (THE WRESTLER), BLACK SWAN takes a thrilling and at times terrifying journey through the psyche of a young ballerina whose starring role as the duplicitous swan queen turns out to be a part for which she becomes frighteningly perfect.

In addition, one of the most exciting cinematic collaborations that we've heard so far this year, Darren Aronofsky has commissioned Rodarte designed sisters Kate and Laura Mulleavy create costumes for the film

Their lastest collection looked a touch like unfocused decoupage and may not have been our favourite work by the Mulleavy girls, but it's entirely conceivable that, as costume designers, they will create some pretty frothy and fabulous looking ballerina garb.

Plus, Natalie Portman is one of the Mulleavy's BFFs and is a regular wearer of Rodarte, so they'll already have her measurements on hand.

But back to the movie for a moment, the premise has Nina (Portman) and Lilly (Kunis) as rival dancers in a New York City ballet company, and when Nina wins the lead role in Swan Lake things start going bad. Rumour has it, the two girls get it on at one point in the movie - which would be amazing.

And if that isn't amazing enough, Winona Ryder is also in the movie playing a supporting role.

Natalie Portman vào vai diễn viên ballet Nina với những điệu múa mê hồn làm say đắm cả thành phố New York (Mỹ). Mọi chuyện thay đổi khi các nhà sản xuất quyết định chọn cả Lilly - một vũ công mới - cùng Nina thể hiện vở ballet nổi tiếng Swan Lake. Một cuộc cạnh tranh dữ dội nổ ra giữa hai cô gái trẻ. Nina gặp biết bao điều kỳ lạ trong khoảng thời gian trước khi diễn ra buổi biểu diễn. Một sự thật kinh hoàng dần được hé lộ.

Black Swan do đạo diễn nổi tiếng Darren Aronofsky thực hiện được chọn chiếu mở màn tại Liên hoan phim quốc tế Venice (Italy) lần thứ 67 sẽ diễn ra vào tháng 9 năm nay.

Bạn diễn của Natalie Portman trong bộ phim này là nữ diễn viên gốc Ukraine - Mila Kunis. Cô từng được khán giả Việt Nam biết đến qua các bộ phim Max Payne, The Book of Eli hay gần đây là Date Night. Trong Black Swan, Mila đóng vai đối thủ cạnh tranh của nhân vật do Natalie thể hiện. Cả hai kiều nữ đều có nhiều cảnh quay nóng bỏng và gây sốc trong phim. Bên cạnh đó, Black Swan còn có sự tham gia của nữ diễn viên đình đám một thời - Winona Ryder.

Điều thú vị là phục trang của bộ phim được chị em nhà thiết kế Kate và Laura Mulleavy vốn đã từng khá thân thiết với Natalie đảm nhận, cho dù bộ sưu tập của họ không gây được nhiều chú ý nhưng biết đâu với vai trò thiết kế trang phục của phim chúng ta sẽ được thấy gì đó thật mới mẻ.

Diễn xuất của Natalie Portman trong bộ phim này được dự đoán sẽ đem tới cho cô đề cử Oscar dành cho Nữ diễn viên chính xuất sắc vào năm sau. Thuộc thể loại kinh dị pha lẫn tâm lý ly kỳ, Black Swan do hãng Fox Searchlight phát hành sẽ được trình chiếu giới hạn tại một số rạp phim ở Mỹ từ ngày 1/12.
